🐭 Be like Archie the pika — collect for winter.

📨
Forward anything
Paste or forward messages from any server. Author, timestamp, and source are captured automatically.
🏷️
Tag and organise
Quick-select your existing tags in one click. Every archive is labelled and searchable.
📎
Files preserved forever
Attachments are uploaded directly to your archive. Discord CDN links expire — your archives won't.
🔒
Completely private
OAuth links Archie to your own Notion or GitHub account. Nobody else can see what you save — not even the bot owner.
01
Create a private Discord server
Make a new server just for yourself — this is your personal archive hub. Archie is designed for solo use; you don't need to invite anyone else.
02
Add Archie to your server
Click the button below and select your private server when prompted. Grant the requested permissions so Archie can read and post in your archive channel.
03
Run /setup
Archie will create a dedicated #archie_archive channel. All your archives will be confirmed here.
04
Connect a backend
Run /connect-notion to archive to Notion, or /connect-github to save as Markdown files in a private GitHub repo. You can connect both and switch with /set-backend.
05
Start archiving
Forward any message from any server into #archie_archive. Add tags and a description in the popup — Archie handles the rest.

FAQ
What data does Archie store, and is it secure?
Archie stores as little as possible — just your Discord user ID and OAuth tokens. No message content, no usernames, no server names. All archives go directly into your own private Notion workspace or GitHub repository; the bot owner has zero access. Run /disconnect-notion or /disconnect-github at any time to delete your tokens immediately. Archie never sends you direct messages — all responses appear as ephemeral messages in your server.
Which Discord servers can I archive from?
Any server you're a member of. Archie lives in your own private Discord server, but you can archive messages from anywhere — public servers, communities, DMs, wherever you find something worth saving. You don't need any special permissions in the source server.
Do I need a paid Notion or GitHub account?
No — free tiers for both work perfectly. With Notion's free plan, be aware of the 5MB file upload limit per file; larger files will trigger a download prompt. GitHub stores archives as Markdown files in a private archie-archives repo, created automatically.
What file types can Archie archive?
Images, GIFs, PDFs, videos, documents — all attachment types are supported. With Notion, files under 20MB are uploaded automatically; larger files trigger a download prompt with a zip. With GitHub, attachments are linked in the Markdown file. The download prompt gives you a zip with the Author/Description/ folder structure, ready to extract wherever you like (link expires after 10 minutes).
What happens if an upload fails?
Nothing is lost. Archie queues the entry locally and will retry on the next sync (every 30 minutes). You can also trigger a manual sync with /sync. GitHub uploads are committed directly and confirmed immediately.
Where do my archives appear?
Notion: Archie creates a database called "Archie Archives" in your workspace on first archive. Look for it in your sidebar or search with Ctrl/Cmd + P.
GitHub: Archives go to a private archie-archives repo as individual Markdown files with YAML front matter.
Can I group my archives by author in Notion?
Yes! Every archived entry includes an Author field. To group by it, open your Archie Archives database, click the settings menu (top right of the database), select Group, then choose Author. All entries from the same person will be grouped together.
Can I archive multiple messages at once?
Yes! Click 📦 Collect Messages on the first message to start a collection. Every subsequent message you send to #archie_archive gets added automatically (you'll see a ✅ reaction on each one). When you're done, run /end-collect — you'll be prompted for a title, author, and tags, and everything gets bundled into a single archive entry (Notion page or GitHub Markdown file).
Can I add to an existing archive entry?
Yes — click 📌 Add to Existing Entry on any message (Notion only). You'll see your 25 most recent entries to pick from, with a search option if you need it. The message content and attachments get appended to the bottom of that Notion page with a divider.
Is Archie free?
Yes, completely free. Archie is a personal bot — create your own private Discord server, invite Archie, connect Notion or GitHub, and start archiving. No subscription, no paywalls, no shared data.
